Memorial service is 10 a.m. Monday, August 6th at the Wise County Memorial Park in Decatur with Fred Utz and Patti Mahaffey officiating. Bill was born September 12, 1936 in Beeville, Texas to Bernard J. and Mary (Fisher) Wilde. Hel was united in marriage to Kerry McDaniel on May 23, 1968 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Bill retired from Petroleum Helicopter, Inc. as a Helicopter Pilot. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Methodist church. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Kerry Wilde of Decatur; 2 daughters, Ronda Boyd of Decatur, Krissa Lopez and husband, John of Dickinson, Texas; 2 sons, Rick Boyd and wife, Faith of New York, Camdon Wilde and wife, Melissa of Alamagordo, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren, Brad, Cody, Caitlyn, Wesley, Bradley, Brandy, Kessa, Keelan and Noah; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Holly Laird.
