More detail on this person: Timothy "Tim" Wright, 68, of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, May 31,
2012. He was born April 28, 1944, in Toledo, OH. Tim enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served 6
years. In Vietnam, he flew helicopters, and received several decorations and badges, including
Pistol Expert Badge, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam National
Service Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal w/Bronze, Navy Commendation Medal,
and Republic of Vietnam Meriterious Unit Commendation. He was honorably discharged in 1973 as a
captain. Tim was an active member of Crossroads Community Church in Ottawa Lake, MI. He had a
great sense of humor and had a goal of making people smile. He is survived by his loving daughters,
Tamara (Jeremy) Langlitz and Tonya (Joshua) Jacks, and grandchildren, Noah Jacks and Levi Langlitz.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home,
1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon.
Memorials may be made to Help Hospitalized Veterans or The Wounded Warrior Project.
