More detail on this person: LTC Randall (Randy) Mark Beckman USA (Ret.), 68, passed away on May 9, 2016. Randy served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, Cobra helicopter instructor pilot, and as the Assistant Army Attache in Saudi Arabia. He has been awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorius Service Medal, Meritorius Service Medal and Air Medal with "V" Device.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Loretta Beckman, and his three children, Stacey (Greg) Nester, Mark (Yael) Beckman and Bradley Beckman. Randy was also a grandfather of five - Erin, Jaime, Maya, Julia and Luke. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron and Roger Beckman, RosaLee (Donald) Lindsey, Rhonda (John) D"Amico and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Edwin Beckman, and brothers, Rich and Robert. A mass will be held at St. Joseph's on Carrollton Manor, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD 21703 at 11:00AM on Friday, May 13. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be made to Fisher House or the Army Emergency Relief.
