Goodwin, 64, of Gulfport, formerly of Wren, retired Army lieutenant colonel, former owner of Enchanted Land in Bay St. Louis and co-owner of Payless Foods in Gulfport, died Friday in Biloxi. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lann Memorial Funeral Home with burial with full military honors in Lee Memorial Park in Verona. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Methodist, a Mason and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran. Mr. Goodwin leaves a daughter, Belinda Joyce 'Robin' Goodwin of Gulfport; a son, Edwin Goodwin of Fort Bragg, N.C.; four brothers, James C. Goodwin Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark., William F. Goodwin of Gulfport, Lawrence L. Goodwin of Aberdeen and Douglas L. Goodwin of Troy, Ill., and a grandchild.
