More detail on this person: CW3 Keeton was a
resident of Newport News, Virginia at the time of
his passing.
He returned to Canada to join the Royal Canadian
Air Force at the age of 17. After 3 years of
service, he joined the U.S. Army and served until
his retirement 20 years later. His U.S. Army
service included two tours in Vietnam. He was a
member of the 101st Airborne and Army Special
Forces. He ended his career as a test pilot and
test pilot instructor. He received many awards for
his service. Among them are the Air Medal with 13
oak leaf clusters and third award V device, Bronze
Star and the Distinguished Flying Cross award with
two oak leaf clusters.
He is survived by his wife Lynda.
A memorial mass will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday,
December 3, 2009 at St Theodore Catholic Church
under direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Msgn.
Charles Dubois will officiate. A gathering of
family and friends for a time of remembrance will
be from 11:30 until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
According to Patrick's wishes he was cremated and
his final resting place will be in Fort Donelson
National Cemetery in Dover, TN.
Memorials in Patrick's memory may be made to the
American Cancer Society , one Lakeshore Dr. Suite
1585, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70629.
