Chuck was on his way back to his unit from a mission in Northern I Corp. He stopped at Quanq Tri to refuel and wx moved in. He should have RON'ed with us, but there was a round-eye show in Hue-Phu Bai that he just HAD to see. Three or four days later I heard that they had to dig the first 6 feet of the nose of his snake out of the ground. Chuck and I were class mates in ORWAC 70-22, roomates in Savanaha (Cobra transition) as well as this ACMSMC.
