War Story:
From Stars & Stripes 02 Jul 1964 - on 29 Jun 1964: UH-1B serial 62-01919 crashed on take-off from an unknown location in Kien Phoung Province killing four men from 114th AHC. They were PFC Wayne A. ARAKAKI; 1LT Gerald W. DAVIDSON; WO Ralph A. DUNN and from B Co, 1st Bn, 5th Infantry: PFC Everette L. DONALDSON ("Shotgun" gunner TDY to 114th AHC).
Shot down on take-off from Cao Lanh Air Field, 3 km south-southeast of Cao Lanh City.
