War Story:
This gunship was hit by enemy fire while operating at low level just south of Tuy Hoa. It was flying toward the ocean when it was hit. The aircraft, probably uncontrollable, flew across the beach and hit in the ocean about 100 yards offshore. Only the crew chief survived. I was the platoon leader. Glenn C.
