Accident Summary:
On a landing approach, the tail rotor separated from the aircraft then it entered a violent spin. After that the nose started pitching up and down and the aircraft continued to spin. It contacted the ground in a nose low attitude and on its left side. The aircraft caught fire on impact. Analysis revealed - material failure in the tail rotor hub assembly.
