Accident Summary:
Aircraft departed in a flight of eight. Aircraft disappeared upon entering the An Khe Pass. Aircraft found crashed into mountain and burned. Flight leader ordered pilot to make a 180 degree turn too far into the pass entrance. Flight leader supervisor error. Ordered inexperienced pilot on a VFR flight under IFR conditions over unfamiliar area. Beyond pilot capabilities.
