Description: The battalion history states that a reported sighting of 6 VC resulted in Battery C firing suppressive fires unit ground units could maneuver into a favorable position to attack the hostil fore. The size of this force was later determined to be of company strength. The ARA again demonstrated its effect on the enemy's will to resist. Battery ? had just completed a firing pass on an enemy position in the ? Soui Ca Valley and was circling to make their second pass when 13 enemy ran out waving their arms and surrendered. Subsequent interrogation of the POWs revealed that they gave up to avoid further attack by the ARA.
